Customer Service Representative IME Guards Fresh Meadows, NY 11366 What is a Customer Service Representative or Patient Advocate for IME Guards? A patient advocate for IME Guards will accompany a claimant (injury victim) during a medical appointment given by a doctor hired by a defense lawyer in a lawsuit. The appointments take place mostly in the Bronx, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. What qualities does a Patient Advocate possess? Patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative; Detail-oriented; Punctual and professional; Assertive but not contentious; Responsibilities Meet the claimant at doctor’s office; Make a detailed hand-written record of the IME; Create a computerized report of the IME; and Submit the report in a timely manner. Requirements Strong communication and listening skills; Proficient with Microsoft Word; Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities; High school diploma or higher; Owns a car, not required but a big plus; and Fluent Spanish is not required but a huge plus;
