In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide product demonstrations will enhance the customer experience and contribute to our store’s success. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Demonstrate product knowledge by providing informative product demos to customers. Upsell additional products or services based on customer needs and preferences. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Assist in supervising junior staff members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries regarding products or services. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances our service capabilities.
