Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Operate the cash register accurately, processing customer transactions swiftly and efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available. Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service delivery. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Proficient in phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone as needed. Experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly within a grocery store environment. Familiarity with cash register operations and handling various payment methods. Ability to perform product demos confidently, showcasing features to potential buyers.
