Job Description
Customer Service Representative Confidential Arcade, NY 14009 SUMMARY Customer Service is responsible for supporting the sales department through efficiently routing inbound customer communication calls, emails and/or faxes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responds promptly to customer needs and inquiries.
- Answer telephone, fax and email inquiries, verifying and entering product sales information in database.
- Completes order acknowledgements and other administrative and clerical duties as required.
- Works closely with Production Scheduler to follow up on scheduled order commitments. Communicates with shipping to assure proper shipping and handling of customer orders. Responds to customers’ inquires or complaints regarding company’s product or services.
- Relay customer feedback regarding products or services to appropriate individuals in sales, quality assurance and product management.
Other duties may be assigned.

Experience:
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years customer service related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs..
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving complex variables in a wide variety of situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of contract management systems, database software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheet and word processing applications.
