Job Description As a Field ServiceRepresentative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operationsand maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of ourcustomers from one of a variety of industries. This missioncritical role involves working on a variety of technologiesincluding catalytic oxidation, wastewater clarification, mediafiltration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO) and filter pressseparation. Key Characteristics Conduct maintenance and calibrationactivities Consult with shift lead and site management Excellentmechanical know how and problem-solving skills Ensure contractcompliance of volume and quality specifications Operate, monitor,and optimize equipment performance Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance Conductcritical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities onequipment Take samples and support the Lab FSR in performinganalytical testing such as: pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-minsettling tests, phosphorus, in addition to various othersite-specific testing requirements Support the Lab FSR in reviewinglab data and make appropriate process changes based upon plantconditions and laboratory results Utilize forklift as needed forplant operations purposes Monitor, adjust and maintain chemicalinjection systems Support the maintenance team in maintaininginventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals andreplacement parts Carry out mechanical, electrical and controltroubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors,ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation Create andmaintain site documentation, and provide customers with detailedtechnical summaries of work performed Consult with shift lead andsite management Ensure contract compliance of volume and qualityspecifications Meet customer access requirements to sites Otherduties as required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of basicwastewater or water treatment Knowledge of basic computer skillsProficient in Google Suite or related software Data interpretation,record keeping reporting and critical decision-making skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate orally in English in afluent manner Knowledge of preventative maintenance for pumps,bearings, blowers and general rotating equipment
QualificationsEducation & Experience Required:
High School Diploma / GED / HomeSchool Certification OR international equivalent 2 years’experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrialenvironment A valid driver’s license
Preferred:
Bachelor orAssociates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technicalcertificate in Instrumentation Experience working with wastewatertreatment technologies
