Center for Community Resources is looking for a compassionate mental health professional to provide Crisis Intervention services through the 988 Crisis Lifeline. Crisis Intervention services include 988 telephone, assessment, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. Essential Responsibilities:

Provides crisis intervention, assessment for safety planning, emotional support, and treatment/support referrals to individuals through 988 Crisis telephone and chat/text in a consistent and non-judgmental manner. Follow through on imminent risk telephone and chat/text contacts to assure emergency contact is made with individuals and confirm outcomes or re-engage the individual as indicated. Provide detailed and thorough documentation for all crisis telephone and chat/text contacts. Adhere consistently to telephone and chat/text management guidelines and all call center policies and procedures. Must participate in all required training and meetings. Utilize supervisory consultation for guidance, support, or debriefing as needed. Maintain confidentiality of all callers/texters. Other duties as assigned. The hours for this position may be evening or overnight . We offer an extra $.75 hr. shift differential for 4pm-12am coverage and $1.50 hr. shift differential for the overnight shift. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one-year experience in mental health field required. Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply.
