The Bureau of Human Services Licensing is actively seeking a Human Services Licensing Representative to conduct inspections and investigations of personal care homes and assisted living residences. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As an essential part of the Bureau of Human Services Licensing, Office of Long-Term Living, you will be responsible for conducting inspections for the purpose of enforcing state laws and regulations governing the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of personal care home and assisted living residence clients. Work involves conducting inspections and investigations, interviewing individuals, identifying violations, and reviewing these violations with facility staff. You will have the opportunity to travel throughout the Southeast Region to oversee the licensing requirements of personal care homes and assisted living residences.
Additional responsibilities include:
Planning and directing licensing inspections in collaboration with supervisory staff and other licensing representativesPreparing licensing packetsMonitoring implementation of corrective actions plansResponding to inquiriesRecommending license and enforcement actions based on inspection findings and professional judgmentInterested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employmentTravel is required.
Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework:
This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
