Service Advisor CJDR Gerry Raymond Chevrolet GMC of Wintersville 78 Zents Blvd, Brookville, PA 15825 Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience from service initiation to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, along with exceptional customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their automotive needs. High CSI is mandatory Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service requirements. Provide detailed explanations of services needed, including vehicle maintenance, brake repair, and shocks struts. Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of service requests. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and recommendations. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair. Assist in automotive sales by promoting services and products that enhance vehicle performance. Requirements Proven experience in customer service within the automotive industry is preferred. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and automotive repair processes. Familiarity with specific repairs such as brake systems, shocks struts, and diesel engines is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A background as a mechanic or service technician is advantageous but not mandatory. A commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences and resolving issues promptly.
