Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team. We are looking for candidates with experience in automotive diagnostics, service writing, and customer service. If you have a passion for the automotive industry and are a team player, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
•Beginning of customer’s experience: Schedule appointments for service/maintenance/repairs Answer phone calls Greet customers and check in vehicles Consult with customers on their needs Perform vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns to enable the technician to properly diagnose and service the vehicle Communicate estimates, scheduling, and work details to customers•During service: Follow the status of customer’s vehicles from check in through work completion Document declined services and ask for follow-up on future service considerations Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and deviations from original estimate Review repairs and services with customers to ensure a complete understanding of services performed•
End of Service:
Upon completion of work, review work order with customer to assure all concerns are addressed Other responsibilities: Distribute work to all stop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy of each job Responsible for the organization and productivity of the shop Supply information on request to technicians Order parts and supplies required for scheduled work Work with supervisors to react to customer service issues, customer complaints, and/or business opportunities Build and maintain a positive relationship with customers Arrange towing and/or alternate transportation Skills and Experience (preferred but not required): Experience in auto service management or related field Some mechanical knowledge in automotive repair Knowledge or experience with parts Good communication and interpersonal skills Experience in service writing and/or willingness to learn Prior experience in sales is a plus, but not required Join our team as a Service Advisor and take your automotive career to the next level!
