Job Summary:
The Customer Service Agent role is a critical position within our client’s organization, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and patients. This role involves handling a variety of customer interactions, including inbound and outbound calls, primarily liaising with medical offices for prescription confirmations and order entries. The representative will also manage customer inquiries across multiple platforms, including phone calls, emails, chat, and social media.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound calls, primarily contacting doctors’ offices for prescription confirmations and order entries.
Serve as the first point of contact for patient and customer inquiries across various platforms including phone calls, emails, chat, and social media.
Work cross-functionally with the Clinical and Product Support teams to handle pre-sales or post-sales service functions.
Manage and respond to patient inquiries, proficiently handle order entry and complaint entry, and serve as a key contact for escalations.
Provide information on our products and services, share knowledge within the team, and assist with training on procedural changes and improvements.
Critically evaluate existing procedures, implement improvements, and validate new procedures to be implemented on the team.
Skills Required:
1-3 years’ experience in a customer service and high-volume call center environment, prior experience in healthcare is a plus.
Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to logically analyze and troubleshoot different types of product and customer service inquiries and issues.
Proficiency in using MS Windows, internet browsers (Edge, Chrome), and Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to work in a fast-paced and possibly stressful environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Ability to work independently and within a team, and in a multi-tasking environment.
