We’re hiring a Floating Customer Service & Sales Associate to provide exceptional service at both our Providence Creamery and North Smithfield Retail Store. This versatile position involves scooping and serving ice cream, assisting customers at the pastry counter, handling transactions, restocking products, and keeping work areas clean and welcoming. We operate 7 days a week, with retail hours typically running from 8 AM to 4-6 PM, depending on the day, season, and business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greet and assist customers with friendliness and professionalism Scoop and serve ice cream, assist at the pastry counter, and process transactions Maintain cleanliness and product displays Restock items and monitor product freshness Promote in-store specials and help grow our customer community You must be able to reliably commute to: North Smithfield, RI Providence, RI Shifts vary by business needs and may include: Morning, afternoon, or evening hours Weekends and holidays Seasonal changes or special events What You’ll Bring Strong customer service skills and positive attitude Reliability and comfort working across multiple locations Willingness to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, creamery, trailer) Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Previous food service or retail experience is a plus Food Safety Certification is a plus but not required High school diploma or GED preferred
