//alphamachine.com/ POSITION SUMMARY The Customer Support Representative is responsible for entering customer orders, managing physical and electronic filing systems, answering phones, and providing basic customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our customers.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Order Entry:
Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
Filing:
Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems for customer records, orders, and other important documents.
Phone Support:
Answer incoming calls, take messages, and provide information to customers. Follow up with customers to provide answers and resolve issues.
Customer Service:
Provide basic customer service by addressing inquiries, taking messages, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely follow-up.
Data Management:
Ensure all customer data is accurately recorded and updated in the system.
Administrative Support:
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Exhibit a professional and friendly demeanor. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Able to work independently and within a team. Excellent attention to detail, while working efficiently. Must have a strong sense of urgency, be time-sensitive and highly motivated. Strong sense of time organization and urgency. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous experience in customer service or administrative role is preferred, but not required.
