Responsibilities Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions. Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area, ensuring all items are readily available for customers. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels as needed. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Adhere to phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers for efficient transaction processing. Experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store environment, is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with product demos and upselling techniques to enhance customer experience. Excellent organizational skills to maintain stock levels and a tidy work area.
