JOB SUMMARY
Assist in coordinating and onboarding new and existing customers on how to best interact with MSC. Helps set the customer up for success by providing key contact points for customer service questions. Keeps up the highest productivity and service levels standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in Onboarding new customers on how to best interact with customer service teams. Have video calls with new and existing customers to not only guide the customer but be a welcoming face to MSC. Anticipates potential problems before they arise as well as having problem solving skills to solve any unforeseen issues. Coordinate with customer facing teams to address operational issues and find corrective measures Able to learn the big picture of customer service and help improve inefficiencies. Performs other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS / KEY COMPETENCIES
English:
Advanced Excellent communication skills Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive Strong attention to details Adaptable and flexible to changes in responsibilities Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively Ability to work under tight deadlines Great team player Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software Prior experience in supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, call center, administrative or clerical jobs
PREFFERED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in customer service, or logistics with a focus on customer service and problem resolution Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in similar role Knowledge of MS Dynamics not necessary but a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
