Job Description

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role is crucial in the service industry, where you will be handling customer inquiries, keeping up-to-date customer records, and processing applications. This position provides a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate contact with customers through various channels including inbound calls, outbound calls, and web-based platforms.
  • Build rapport with customers, ask discovery questions, and create a sense of urgency to maximize appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and detail-oriented attitude while cultivating and sustaining strong customer relationships.
  • Take the initiative to resolve and de-escalate customer issues.
  • Keep the customer database updated with complete and accurate information.
  • Participate in required training and communicate regularly with the direct manager and dispatchers.
  • Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to manage multiple software platforms simultaneously.
  • Exhibit your excellent communication skills while juggling multiple tasks with multiple priorities.
  • Use your data entry skills to accurately process customer credit applications.
  • Leverage your experience in answering inbound and making outbound calls to provide excellent customer service.
  • Use your skills in scheduling appointments and dispatching to ensure smooth operations. Requirements
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls effectively
  • Demonstrated experience in a call center customer service environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to providing exceptional customer care
  • Must be highly skilled in data entry and order entry procedures
  • Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience in scheduling appointments and managing schedules
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan software is a plus
  • Experience in dispatching, coordinating and directing field teams
  • Knowledge in HVAC systems and related services will be considered an asset
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
