Part-Time Cashier/Customer Service Melvin’s Barbeque 538 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412 About us – We are a small locally owned and operated family friendly BBQ resturaunt that has been around for more than 30 years! Melvin’s BBQ is most known for our mustard BBQ sauce which was invented by the owner’s Grandaddy, Big Joe, in 1933 and passed down from generation to generation! Along with mustard based que, we serve burgers, house made desserts, nachos and so much more! We are a small but mighty team looking for someone who can keep up with the busy atmosphere and keep a smiling face and great attitude! Cashiers are a huge part of our team’s success! They are responsible for great customer service, taking orders, making suggestions based on our menu, bagging food, and keeping the dining room clean and stocked properly. The ideal candidate is friendly, works well with others, has a great attitude, wants to help others, and satisfy the customer! Experience is preferred but not required. After our training period, Cashiers split tips from each shift – with all of our cashiers making around $13/hr+ tips.
