You also need a thorough understanding of insurance products, a commitment to helping clients navigate their insurance options/elections and growing the agency through new business premiums and value added endorsements. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to customer policy inquiries and providing information on insurance products & services.
  • Assist clients in understanding their insurance policies and coverage options.
  • Process policy changes, payments, coverage options and onboarding new clients.
  • Handle claim inquiries and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-update client records.
  • Identifies opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve agency sales targets and performance goals.
  • Staying informing about industry trends, regulations and new products.
  • Assist with customer retention efforts, including ensuring timely payment collection.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
