Job Description:
The Newberry Observer is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and resolving inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Enter legals and classified advertisements into the appropriate systems, while following standard operational process.
- Interact with customers via phone, email, or in-person, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a courteous and empathetic manner.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about our products, services, and policies to assist customers with their purchasing decisions or troubleshooting needs.
- Investigate and analyze customer issues, determine appropriate resolutions, and take necessary actions to resolve problems promptly.
- Process customer orders, payments, and returns efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services to customers, maximizing sales and revenue.
Skills:
- Competency in technology including Microsoft Office & Adobe PDF
- Previous experience in customer service or a related role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven history of customer success based on relationship building.
- Patience, empathy, and active listening skills to understand and address customer needs effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve customer issues.
