The CRS is part of the person-centered integrated care team andresponsible for greeting patients as they arrive,check-in/check-out, verifying demographics and collecting co-pays,if applicable. This may include primary care, dental, behavioralhealth and specialist appointments. This position is fast-paced,requiring continuous interactions with co-workers and patients.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. This candidate willtravel/float to other office locations including Worley,McCambridge, Portland, Providence, Foodbank. Schedule is Monday•Friday typically 8:00am•5:00pm, but hours may vary depending oncoverage needs.

Greet patientsas they arrive and stay consistent with the company’s customerservice philosophy Manage consumer appointments, confirmappointments and alert patients if they need to bring anyinformation to appointment (co-pays, past due balances, paperworkfor PAP and/or sliding fee scale) Data Entry into EHR systemsComplete financial paperwork, ensuring all required forms arecompleted in entirety Verify insurance/demographic information ateach visit and update if necessary Collect co-pays, when applicableAnswer phone in polite and courteous manner Direct phone calls andmessages to appropriate office staff Monitor waiting area to ensuretimeliness of appointments Check provider’s schedule daily foradditions Receive daily reports from MIS for information needed onpatients that have upcoming appointments Balance daily batch andturns in money collected for the day to Office Supervisor orRegional Office Manager, when applicable Disperse daily mail Ensurelobby/waiting area is clean and picked up Travel to other clinicsites, as needed Regular attendance except as excused, withflexibility to change hours to accommodate the clinic needsMaintain strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAAguidelines/regulations Conduct self in accordance with employeemanual Attend all training as required by company, Accreditors andFunders Keep abreast of any updates/changes regarding insurance andcommunicate those to Office Supervisor Communicate anychanges/updates discovered through other means to Office SupervisorOther duties as assigned Floats to various Compass locations toprovide coverage as scheduled and/or as needed High School/GEDpreferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
