Duties will include processing notary applications, apostilles and authentications, including printing and mailing commissions. Candidate will review and process notaries public applications. Ensures that all applications are verified, indexed, cashiered and scanned. Answers telephone inquiries, e-mail inquiries and assists walk-in customers regarding the notary division. Candidate will assist with Notary Public seminars annually which will require traveling to locations throughout the state outside of normal working hours. Candidate will review and process authentications (apostilles and certifications). Ensures that all documents are verified, indexed, cashiered and prepared. Candidate will be responsible for opening, sorting and mailing out division mail daily. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, although not required for the position.
