The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while facilitating communication between the customer and the service department. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive services and the ability to effectively upsell services while ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs. Conduct thorough consultations to understand customer concerns and vehicle issues. Utilize mechanical knowledge to provide accurate diagnostics and recommend appropriate services. Explain repair and maintenance options, including oil changes, automotive diagnostics, and auto body repair. Facilitate communication between customers and technicians, ensuring clarity on service recommendations. Manage service appointments, ensuring timely completion of work and effective scheduling. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up actions. Ensure a clean and organized service area for optimal customer experience. Experience Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive repair, diagnostics, and sales. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers. Proven ability to upsell services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. A background in automotive sales or related fields is preffered.
