Assistant Service Manager/Service Advisor 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 3145 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN 37701 Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing their automotive repair needs. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both customers and service technicians. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services, utilizing auto estimating skills. Communicate effectively with service technicians regarding customer concerns and repair requirements. Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions through service writing. Advise customers on necessary maintenance and repairs, including air brake systems, shocks, struts, brake repair, and general vehicle maintenance. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns. Assist in sales of automotive services and products to enhance customer experience. Skills Proficient in automotive repair knowledge, including but not limited to air brake systems, shocks, struts, and brake repair. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices. Experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. Ability to perform auto estimating accurately. Sales experience is a plus to help drive service recommendations. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
