The UPS Store Newport, TN 37821 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer solutions will be key to enhancing their experience with our brand. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Utilize phone etiquette to communicate effectively with customers over the phone. Assist customers with product information, including demos and features. Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash responsibly. Perform retail math calculations to assist customers with pricing and discounts. Upsell products based on customer needs and preferences to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain stock levels by organizing inventory and ensuring product availability. Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers. Assist customers with packing and shipping packages, including selecting appropriate materials. Process shipments, including generating labels and manifesting. Receive and process packages for shipping. Qualifications Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Strong understanding of basic math skills for effective cash handling and retail calculations. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Ability to perform product demos and articulate product benefits clearly. Experience with POS systems is a plus. A proactive approach to upselling and identifying customer needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing stock levels.
