In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be essential in creating a welcoming shopping environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide informed assistance. Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and organized. Supervise junior staff as needed, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. Utilize retail math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic retail math is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Experience in supervising or training staff is advantageous but not mandatory. No Experience is required but any is helpful!
