Customer Service Representative Job Description Our client’s Transportation Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialists to assist in the management of daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team in a huge growth area. An ideal candidate has experience in transportation and excellent customer service skills. He/she has the ability to coordinate between multiple parties to ensure high levels of customer service. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high pressure environment. Responsibilities Deliver an outstanding carrier and driver experience while providing solutions in a call center environment. Research and problem-solve transportation issues, setting appropriate expectations. Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to schedules for start and stop times and breaks Make outbound calls to understand and resolve transportation issues. Support workload surges and weather-related operations with significant overtime during peak season from October to January each year Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources for reporting. Work with cross-functional teams. Provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability. Essential Skills One year of call center experience required preferably in logistics, collections, escalations, or help desk support Aptitude and ability to work through ambiguous situations Deep dive each issue by using critical thinking skills, de-escalation skills, then finding a resolution Ability to navigate multiple systems and tools while supporting customers Adaptability is critical as processes can change often Additional Skills & Qualifications Transportation and Logistics experience is a plus but not needed. Must have customer service experience with deescalating and problem solving. Work Environment Training hours will be Monday to Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm for 2 weeks. After Training hours will be Monday to Friday 8 am-4:30 pm. This position is 100% in-office.
