Customer Service Representative/Bookkeeper QualCast Nashville, TN 37210 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team in person in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional support and assistance. Your ability to communicate effectively and analyze customer needs will be essential in delivering outstanding service. As an A/R clerk you will also charge credit cards, apply payments, and process mailed checks received. Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone, or email in a timely and professional manner. Provide accurate information regarding products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Analyze customer issues and provide effective solutions while maintaining a positive attitude. Enter, print, and bill orders. Mail catalogs, price sheets and invoices Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Call and/or email customers about past due balances Create new customers in ERP after receiving credit applications Open mail and process checks using electronic check scanning Process credit card transactions through a merchant website. Apply customer deposits to customer accounts. Assist payables by scanning and processing bills as needed Experience Previous experience in a call center or customer support role is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail. A/R or A/P entry experience Experience in sales or client services is a plus but not mandatory. A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
