Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Counter Associate to join our dynamic team at Oakwood Cleaners, voted the best in Nashville 2 years in a row! Your attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service will contribute to creating an outstanding experience for our clients.

Hours:

T, TH, F

3pm

• 10pm, Wednesdays, 1pm
• 8pm, Rotating Saturdays, 8:50am
• 3pm

Duties:

• Great customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage cash handling and operate a point of sale (POS) system accurately
• Assist customers with pickups and drop offs
• Inspection, detailing into POS and tagging all items in for cleaning.
• Communicate with clients via text, email, phone or in person
• Sort dry clean items at end of shift
• Pre-treat men’s button down laundered shirts
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Help to maintain and clean work place, including dusting, sweeping & emptying garbage
• Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in garment inspection at a dry cleaner is not needed but helpful
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain inspection standards
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions at cash registers
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks while standing and lift/move heavy objects if required
