The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently gathering information and directing calls appropriately. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle sensitive information, and a commitment to maintaining professionalism at all times. Duties Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for callers. Utilize phone systems effectively to manage call flow and maintain accurate records. Perform phone triage by assessing the nature of calls and directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel. Communicate clearly and effectively with callers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Handle conflict management situations with professionalism, negotiating solutions when necessary. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, particularly in relation to law enforcement or medical terminology. Document call details accurately in accordance with established protocols. Experience Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred. Familiarity with phone systems and call management software is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology or law enforcement procedures is a plus. Relevant certifications in communication or conflict management are beneficial but not required. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure are essential.
