- General Services Performs administrative duties involved in scheduling maintenance and repair work performed in the Fleet Service Division.
Performs related duties as required. The men and women in Metro’s General Services Department are there to make sure the rest of government works. From ensuring that our city’s vehicles run safely and smoothly, to keeping city buildings up to par to providing printing services and more, General Services is the support that allows other Metro departments to focus and achieve their missions. This position could be used to fill both day and evening shift. Typical Duties Schedule maintenance and repair work on motor vehicles. Schedule repair work for mechanics. Generate and track work orders and service calls. Assign service work to meet performance goals. Monitor workflow. Contact customers to obtain or verify information. Maintain records and disseminates information as necessary. Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and one (1) year experience in an automotive or equipment repair shop.
LICENSES REQUIRED
Valid Driver License Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
