We are currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative that supports our sales team in the field for our foodservice distribution company.

Position Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring that customers and Account Managers receive prompt, courteous, and accurate service. In addition, responsible to meet customer needs and enhance customer relationships. Supports sales and their initiatives that enhance operating company profitability. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Input customer orders and credits accurately and in a timely manner. Demonstrates a strong commitment to service quality Provides effective customer service by answering questions and resolving problems for customers, and other teammates. Utilize the company order entry system to its fullest extent to provide information or resolve problems Performs administrative tasks, such as sorting mail, checking in visitors, and answering phones. Attend training and Customer Service meetings. Covering shifts outside of the regular schedule on occasion such as a Sunday Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Customer Centric attitude with professional demeanor Enjoy working with people and solving problems Engaging and helpful with a willingness to learn Must be proficient in MS Office suite
- Outlook, Word, and Excel 6
- 12 months experience in customer service or related area. Preferred Qualifications 1
- 2 years customer service, or related area within foodservice industry.
Bilingual and/or working proficiency in Spanish AS400/FoodStar system experience.
