MMT is a leading innovator in automation, machine design, and custom tooling. We’re looking for a Customer Care Representative I to join our Chattanooga office. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering responsive and accurate service that keeps our business moving forward. What You’ll Do Respond promptly and professionally to high-volume customer inquiries via email and phone Generate and send quotes, track open orders, and provide timely updates on delivery status Handle product concerns, returns, and generate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) Collaborate with internal departments and utilize Salesforce to manage customer communications and leads Stay informed on product updates and support processes with accuracy and attention to detail Know when to escalate issues and communicate directly to resolve urgent matters What You Bring Strong written communication skills and the ability to manage high-volume correspondence with ease Excellent organization and time management skills, with strong follow-through Ability to maintain professionalism, clear communication, and focus in fast-paced situations Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail A positive, energetic attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Professional communication style with excellent interpersonal and soft skills Preferred Skills Typing speed of 70+ words per minute Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Salesforce, Epicor, Great Plains, or Business Central is a plus Prior experience in a customer service role; experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is a bonus Why MMT?
