Key responsibilities include greeting Guests, ringing up orders, handling payment and thanking guests. You will also prepare orders, promote products, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities Welcome guests as they approach the establishment and guide them, if necessary, to where they can sit or stand to place an order Answer any questions guests may have about smoothie king ingredients, portion sizes, and how the food is prepared Take guest orders, guiding them with selections and making recommendations if requested Operate cash registers to process cash and credit card payments for orders Promote Smoothie King products by offering to upgrade items or showcasing daily specials available Prepare and package food quickly and consistently according to company standards for presentation, cooking times, and assembly Strictly adhere to current sanitation and food safety regulations at all times Maintain a clean and orderly work station that is clear of debris and discarded food, gloves, or other items Foster an environment of team work Qualifications No experience required, but previous food handling or customer service experience appreciated Excellent ability to follow established procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality products or services to the guests Knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, portion sizes, and the presence of common allergens Proactive attention to detail that motivates double-checking orders and making records of information when necessary Strong customer service skills, especially with regards to the resolution of complaints Willingness to adapt to different roles and job duties as the need arises Ability to work smoothly with a team, synchronizes processes with others to fulfill orders as quickly as possible Must be efficient and energetic, multitasking to complete multiple orders or switching between different types of activities Physcial Requirements Ability to operate a blender amd POS cashier system Ability to regularly move boxes weighing up to 55lbs throughout the store and back of the house Ability to constantly blend, reach, and scoop Ability to access refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 50-10 degrees Farenheit Ability to tolerate exposure to food allergens
