Job Duties/Responsibilities :
- Accept inbound calls from prospective customers, assess needs and offer available products
- Explain quotes and product or coverage questions
- Respond and follow up on customer service inquiries
- Remain current on product offerings, enhancements, and/or changes/modifications
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Previous insurance background required
- Previous experience in sales is required
- Effective communication skills – verbal and written
- Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
- Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel), internet, and other related computer applications.
- Life and Health Insurance License required. Position requires the incumbent to maintain a current state insurance license in life and health.
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking a plus
