In this role, you will be the face of our grocery store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a positive shopping experience by assisting customers with their purchases, answering inquiries, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and handling cash. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed neatly and organized. Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and inviting store atmosphere. Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock levels or product discrepancies. Promote sales and special offers to enhance the customer shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and transactions.
