Job Summary This entry-level position serves within the Client Experience Team and is responsible for supporting faculty, staff, and students with technology issues related to workstations, classroom equipment, and communication platforms. The Client Experience Support Technician monitors incoming service requests, provides technical assistance, and contributes to a welcoming, solutions-oriented support environment. The role offers hands-on experience in end-user technology support while fostering growth in professional IT service skills. Essential Job Duties Monitor Help Desk tickets, emails, and calls to identify and respond to technology support needs in a timely and effective manner.
Install, configure, and support university-owned hardware and software including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of classroom and AV technology including video conferencing systems and presentation equipment.
Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate issues, complete service requests, and contribute to knowledge base documentation. Other Job Duties Participate in onboarding and training new users on basic IT services.
Maintain accurate service records and asset tracking in alignment with IT standards.
Contribute to a team-oriented, customer-service focused Help Desk environment.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Client Experience Team. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in computer science or related degree and 1-3 years of experience in IT support. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants with certifications in IT support and operations.
