In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle transactions accurately will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Process transactions efficiently and accurately using the cash register. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits and features. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment. Assist in supervising junior staff members when needed, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and team members. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities is beneficial. Familiarity with product demos to effectively showcase merchandise is advantageous. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
