Customer Service Associate Green Olde Deal Antique Mall 1442 Winfield Dunn Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37876

• Saturday and Sunday availability is a must, Candidates that cannot work these days will not be considered. We have an immediate need for Weekend Associates.
• As a sales associate, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, facilitating sales transactions, and contributing to the overall success of the antique mall.

This position requires a customer-focused, friendly, and detail-oriented attitude who can efficiently handle cash, process sales, and assist customers with their inquiries and needs. Your two primary responsibilities will be to either run the cash registers and assist with checkouts, or to walk the sales floor and assist customers with large items, answer questions if possible, and bring items to the hold shelves for checkout. You will be assigned your role at the beginning of the shift, but it will not be set in stone. You will have to adapt and be flexible as needed.

Job responsibilities:

• Customer Service o Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor. o Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering recommendations. o Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. o Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Cash Handling o Accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions. o Count cash drawer at the start and end of each shift and reconcile any discrepancies. o Provide customers with accurate change and receipts. o Ensure the security of cash and financial transactions at all times.
• Sales Assistance o Actively promote and upsell products to customers. o Help customers make informed purchasing decisions. o Ensure that all merchandise is properly tagged and priced. o Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
• Operational Support o Participate in store opening and closing procedures o Adhere to all store policies and procedures o Ensure a safe and clean shopping environment by following sanitation and safety procedures.
• Teamwork o Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive work atmosphere o Communicate effectively with team members and management o Assist with the training of new employees as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in retail, customer service, or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills for operating cash registers and processing transactions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 80lbs.
• Use of hands and fingers to operate cash registers and handle merchandise.
