Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a Contract to permanent position offering the opportunity for growth and development within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a commitment to obtaining necessary certifications to advance into an agent role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inbound and outbound calls in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple office locations, including Midtown and Southaven.
- Prepare for insurance certification exams by studying after hours and completing required training.
- Take a personality assessment to evaluate suitability for the position and participate in follow-up interviews.
- Complete background checks as required by State Farm to ensure compliance.
- Learn and adapt to company procedures for transitioning into an agent role.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and ensure data is updated in the system.
- Support team efforts to meet deadlines and achieve performance goals.
- Actively participate in training sessions designed to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
- Willingness to study and prepare for certification exams within the first two months of employment.
- Ability to work at multiple office locations as needed.
- Completion of a personality assessment and compliance with all pre-employment requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with data entry.
- Commitment to learning and advancing into an agent role.
