Service Writer / Service Adviser Hwy 70 Car Care 8152 Us Highway 70, Arlington, TN 38002 We are seeking a full-time, year round Floating Service Advisor / Salesman, who will alternate between our 5 locations: Arlington, Moscow, Rossville, Bolivar, TN and Byhalia, MS. The Floating Store Manager / Salesman will be responsible for providing management coverage to ensure consistent presence in stores. Applicant must be physically able to go out and inspect vehicles and recommend service Welcoming customers and explaining the services Listening and documenting customers’ car problems and passing the information to the mechanics Consulting with mechanics about repairs Answering questions about service outcomes (after consulting with the mechanic if necessary) Estimating car repair costs and the time it will take for repairs to be completed Finding new customers and marketing each location Test driving cars to confirm repairs have been done correctly Resolving possible customer complaints after repair services are offered Maximize sales volume Assume leadership role within the store Motivate and develop associates to meet store/company goals and objectives; lead by example Clearly delegate activities and follow-up on all direction; be available for questions/concerns Ensure all customer concerns are addressed and resolved; ensure customer service is #1 priority Support all company/management decisions Maintain store appearance Communicate all merchandise-related concerns to District Manager Ensure cleanliness and organization of store Obtain and prepare parts quotes Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs Supply Service Technicians with parts as required Ability to communicate customers interests, need, and requests to management and technicians Calculate the customer’s bill using the shop’s computer system Must follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform any other special duties requested by Managers Regular attendance with consistent with attendance policy
