Position Summary/Objective :
Under the guidance of the Human Resources Coordinator, the Customer Service/Enrollment Agent plays a key role in welcoming and assisting clients with background check fingerprinting. This part-time position (25 hours per week) is all about providing friendly, helpful service and making sure every client feels comfortable and well taken care of. The role also includes occasional receptionist support, helping out wherever needed with a positive attitude and a smile! Our Culture Since 1964, UETHDA has been all about Helping People. Essential Functions :
Provide superior customer service to clients. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting and retail equipment, including computer hardware and software. Verify customer identity and scan required documents into database system. Successfully complete required biometric and data capture processes and paperwork on each customer. Track processing time for each applicant and ensure applicants are processed in appropriate order. Perform biometric processing to include capturing quality electronic fingerprints, photographs and signatures to meet or exceed program accuracy standards. Adhere to all company and departmental employment policies regarding security and confidentiality to ensure applicant documents/information are safeguarded at all times. Performs administrative functions which includes basic troubleshooting and/or equipment modifications when necessary. Represents the company and the program(s) that are supported in a professional and customer- oriented manner. Support Customer Service Registration and Reservation activities, as necessary. Successfully completes time sensitive trainings as assigned. Serve as backup to other Agency Administrative personnel, when needed. Other duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time non-exempt position with standard hours of work/days Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Standing for extended periods of time (may be up to 75% or the time) is required. The work requires moderate physical effort with frequent standing, occasional lifting and/or moving of materials in the 10-30 pound range.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies. Ability to work in a fast paced, customer-facing environment with maintaining professionalism at all times. Highly motivated to assist clients with enrollment needs. Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and basic Excel. Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility. Ability to work with integrity, adaptability, discretion, and a professional approach. Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements, including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen, as well as obtain any required program specific credentials/certifications. Must have excellent attendance. Must be at least eighteen (18) years old, a US Citizen, and have a valid driver’s license.
