Service Advisor/Writer Hyundai of Cool Springs Franklin, TN 37067 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between our customers and service technicians, ensuring that all customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Salary is based on experience. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services, including tire service, brake repair, and auto body repair. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and transactions. Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services while communicating any updates to customers. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Utilize auto estimating software to provide precise quotes for services. Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to service or repairs. Promote additional services or products based on customer needs and preferences. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in auto service management or as a mechanic preferred. Familiarity with tire service, brake repair, auto estimating, and auto body repair is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in cash handling is required. Sales experience is desirable to promote additional services effectively.
