In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about various wines and spirits, and assist them in making informed purchasing decisions. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through personalized recommendations and being hospitality-focused. It is our mission to create passionate consumers of wine and spirits: to introduce, educate, and provide world-class wines, spirits, and accouterments to residents and visitors of Williamson County. We do this through educational and tasting events, personalized shopping experiences and sourcing the very best and most desirable products. Saint Goose strives to build a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to hospitality, sophistication, and intentionality. Duties Engage with customers to understand their wine and spirit preferences and provide tailored recommendations. Assist with private and in-store events, classes, and tasting Receive and distribute wine, spirits, and all other merchandise into their designated placements throughout Saint Goose Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive shopping environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. Skills Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems (Square) for efficient transaction processing. Team Player Background in customer service around wine and/or spirits (either in a restaurant or retail capacity) Eagerness to expand existing knowledge of wine, whiskey, and other spirits Communicates clearly and effectively with both clients and other members of the Saint Goose team (in person, on the phone, via email/text/slack) Requirement Ability to easily lift and move 50lbs (wine and spirits are heavy!)
