We are growing and looking for a friendly, service-driven, outgoing team member to help us fulfill our mission: “Making a positive difference in our neighbors’ lives!” This full-time BSR position, located at our Lebanon, TN branch, assists our members with their financial information, questions, and needs in a hybrid role of closing loans for members and opening new memberships along with completing teller transactions. OHCU employment includes a robust benefits package. Working hours : 7:45 AM – 4:00• PM Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM – 5:00• PM Fridays plus time to wrap up and close, which varies by day

Duties/Expectations:

Must be able to count cash and balance a teller drawer daily Open new accounts, close accounts, make/edit changes with accurate information. Will open various types of accounts and will learn these accounts and be knowledgeable when speaking to members. Converse with members and listen for their needs and offer solutions. Assist members with the loan application process in person or electronically. Ensure complete and accurate information and obtain documentation relevant to the application. This includes calculating debt to income ratios, calculating secured and unsecured debt, and reviewing paystubs for accuracy. Work with borrowers to expand consumer loan relationships on a variety of products including auto, motorcycle, watercraft, campers, motor home, personal loans, credit cards, and more. Discuss/educate members on potential loan products and explain products/benefits to enhance member education. Scan documentation from loans and new accounts accurately. Provide prompt, professional, and helpful service to members, addressing questions and concerns. Punctual and reliable Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications/Skills:

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Strong communication skills to interact with members and colleagues in a professional manner Experience in use of PCs (Windows computers), calculators, and other office equipment Prior banking experience strongly preferred Sales background strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment High School diploma or equivalent Able to pass a background check and a drug screen Candidate must successfully pass an employment credit check. Any current delinquencies or bankruptcies still showing on the credit report may result in failure of the check. The review may include, but is not limited to, past due items, late payments, unpaid charge-offs, collections (non-medical), judgments, bankruptcies, repossessions, and foreclosures.
