Part-Time Client Service Representative (Afternoon and Evenings)-Veterinary Hospital 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 278 Vt Route 15 East, Hyde Park, VT 05655 Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services (LVVS) is looking for an additional Client Service Representative to join our busy team! Experience in the veterinary field is ideal, and any reception and/or client service experience is also preferred. Entry-level applicants are welcome to apply; we’re happy to train someone with the right attitude and an eagerness to learn. We are a fast-paced hospital with multiple exam rooms, doctors, and cases. Duties include checking patients in and out, processing payments, answering and directing phone calls, and managing client traffic in the lobby and other hospital spaces. Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and comfort with computers are the most important attributes for this role. We’re looking to fill shifts primarily in the early to mid-afternoon, extending until 7-8 PM. Regular monthly Saturday shifts will also be required. This is a part-time position, requiring 20-25 hours per week. The starting pay is $15.00/hour, with compensation increasing based on experience. Checking clients and patients in and out Provide information about services related to animal care. Assist clients with scheduling appointments for their pets, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our software. Collaborate with veterinary staff to relay important information regarding animal care and treatment plans. Foster a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets, ensuring comfort during visits. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the veterinary or animal care industry is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. A passion for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
