6th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 We are a Family-Owned sign business that has been operating for over 75 years, is seeking a Sign Shop Painter/ Prepper to join our growing team! You will be responsible for prepping various substrates such as aluminum, steel, acrylic, and/or wood. Shift Hours •6A – 3P // 5 DAYS
A WEEK // PLUS OVERTIME WHEN NEEDED
•Qualifications Dependable Ability to work with others Time management skills Well organized and detail-oriented Communicative with great customer service skills Excellent driver’s license history Paint/ Prepping experience is a plus Artistic experience a plus Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions The ability to lift and carry or otherwise move 50 pounds regularly Responsibilities Reviewing production orders to ensure familiarization with requirements of the job Mixing appropriate paints and matching paint chips and/or samples Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Sort items according to organizational standards
