They will also possess a limitless desire to create activations that are fun, creative, on time and memorable. Position Requirements Professional demeanor and happy attitude. Previous experience in teaching or leading group activities, particularly for children and families, is a plus. A creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging guests. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt activities to suit various age groups and interests. Basic computer knowledge (Micros or other POS systems). Outstanding and professional guest services skills. Organized and the ability to facilitate multiple people and skill sets at the same time. Knowledge of supplies. Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task. Experience setting up, operating and breaking down events. Responsibilities Greet (using names) and acknowledge each guest promptly after seating with hotel greeting standard. Know and implement standards/procedures of service for guests. Ensure table settings are fully equipped with the appropriate condiments. Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work area. Lead a variety of arts, crafts, and recreational activities for children and adults. Create and set up activity spaces with materials and supplies for each session. Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and enjoyable manner. Education High school diploma or GED Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks. Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Physical Requirements Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to be outdoors for long periods of time. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain. Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
