Culinary Artist – Pizza Section Jerrys Restaurant and Tap Room 300 E St Laurent Street, Longwood, FL 32750 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant’s standards, ensuring customer satisfaction with every dish. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following health regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in menu planning and the development of new pizza recipes. Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent food service to guests. Skills Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, specifically in pizza preparation or fine dining settings. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen tools and equipment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling ingredients. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
