We offer daily broom making workshops, bookbinding workshops, spelljar workshops, tarot readings and live performances. A Witchery Bookbinding Instructor will be responsible for providing enthusiastic, knowledgeable instruction for bookbinding workshops and delivering exceptional customer service. Instructors help maintain the shop, products, merchandise, tools, and materials. Instructors are passionate about the mission of The Witchery and embrace the fluid and creative work environment with an open mind. Transferable experience in public speaking, teaching, or instructing is strongly preferred . The Witchery is a creative space through and through. Flexibility, adaptability, and out of the box thinking are a huge plus. Moreover, there are many opportunities to voice your own creative ideas and pursue artistic endeavors. The right candidate for this role will be passionate about the mission of The Witchery, will provide compassionate customer service, and will embrace the fluid and creative work environment with an open mind. This position is subject to seasonal hours : All seasonal positions will end in mid-November . Candidates must be available to work through the tourism season (July-November). The required starting schedule for this position is as follows: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, & Saturday 9:30am-1:30pm (16 hours). Hours are expected to increase (up to 40 hours) as tourism increases. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Instruct and support Witchery bookbinding workshops Guide patrons through their creative process to create meaningful crafts Contribute to shop opening and closing procedures Professionally enforce and communicate the official Workshop Policies in person or via phone call or email Assist with timely packaging and shipping of online orders Assisting with point of sale/cash register sales and wrapping Preparing and maintaining all merchandise, stock, and products Maintain shop cleanliness and organization daily Fielding customer inquiries in person, via phone call or email Required skills and qualifications: Strong public speaking and communication skills Group management and leadership skills Experience in providing patient and compassionate customer service Relevant teaching, instructing, presentation, public speaking experiences Strong attention to detail Ability to work autonomously when required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

Helpful to have experience in retail Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite High school or equivalent education level Stable work history Experience with or passion for art, crafting, hands-on creativity!
