Metal Jewelry Artist/Instructor-Summer Camp 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 93 Walden Drive, Denmark, ME 04022 Job Summary Camp Walden, a traditional summer overnight camp for girls in Denmark, ME, is searching for a Metal Jewelry Instructor. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, responsible and spirited artist who is excited to join our Art Department and work with our campers to create beautiful metal jewelry. This will be Camp Walden’s 110th summer. Our mission is to allow each camper to fully develop her personality and skills. Walden prides itself on creating an atmosphere that encourages self-confidence, promotes leadership skills, and provides a trusting and secure environment where girls can thrive and have fun! The ideal candidate will be able to teach basic jewelry making; enameling, soldering, cutting, drilling, sawing, filing, sanding and finishing. This is a perfect opportunity for a metal jewelry artist who wants to gain some teaching experience, have 24-hour access to a studio, and spend the summer as part of an amazing camp community on a lake in Maine. Experience Previous experience as an artist working with Metal. Experience as an art instructor. Experience working with children at summer camp is a plus.

Dates:

Today until August 8, 2025. Salary is competitive and includes generous time off, room, board, laundry and a transportation allowance.
