Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit The mission of the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media is to prepare students to ignite the public conversation in our state, the nation and the world, and to understand the role of communication in fostering democracy. Position Summary UNC Blue Sky Innovations invites applications for a Graphics and UI Innovation Fellow. The fellow will be responsible for leading creative team initiatives and designing graphics and UX for projects. This role involves direct communication with partners and clients, participation in lab tours and events, support for media content creation, and ensuring consistent company branding. Additionally, the fellow will design graphics and US elements, support VR projects, and assist the Media Team with planning, creation, and use of photo and video content. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience The successful applicant for this position will possess a strong background in graphic design and user interface development. Familiarity with web development, content creation, and a keen eye for brand consistency are also essential for success in this role. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Experience in leading creative teams, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
